Caravan Transport

Many people are curious about caravan transport, due to the size of the caravans. Static caravans are substantially bigger than touring caravans, and so instead of being towed by a car, need to be moved using a low-loader (a flat-bed lorry low to the ground). Joal Leisure contracts the experts for caravan transport, to ensure all stock remains in prime condition. In many instances when buying from Joal Leisure the cost of caravan transportation is free with the caravan that you have purchased. Caravans outside of our 100 mile free delivery service will be charged at cost rates, thereby keeping the overall price of our services down for our customers. It is important to keep in mind any steep driveways or sharp bends when considering caravan transport, though the caravan can be shifted using a 4x4 to navigate any tight corners. In the instances when caravan transport is required as a direct service to our customers we charge £1.80 per mile for the round trip. There is normally a minimum transport fee of £200.00. We will be happy to quote for whatever caravan transport needs you require. Joal Caravans also offer an international caravan transport service.
