Denbighshire

The county of Denbighshire is part of beautiful North East Wales. Its wealth of history, heritage and countryside makes Denbighshire a most attractive tourism destination for log cabin or static caravan owners. With about 30 caravan parks, the county stretches from the popular coastal resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn in the north, down through the Vale of Clwyd, over the panoramic Horseshoe Pass and into the picturesque Dee Valley where the busy tourist town of Llangollen nestles. Llangollen has the distinction of being home to the International Music Eisteddfod, a world- renowned festival of music, song and dance in which competitors from more than fifty countries come together for a week to stand side by side in music. Those that own a mobile home in the region are welcome to come and enjoy this rich cultural experience.
Other activities for static caravan holidaymakers could include a visit to Rhuddlan Castle, which started life as early as 1277, and was one of King Edward I’s forts in Wales. Surrounded by a river dock, the castle was highly protected. For mobile home owners with families to entertain, Rhyl “Funshine” Sun Centre has exciting 200 and 300 foot slides. Also housed here is Europe’s very first indoor surf pool, and an authentic Tropical Storm with tropical rain and the sound of rolling thunder. The whole centre can be viewed from the centre’s indoor monorail. All in all, Denbighshire has plenty of attractions to make a mobile home holiday fun and fascinating.
