Swansea

Whilst a small county, tucked down in the south of Wales, Swansea has 25 or so caravan parks to accommodate the area’s many eager mobile home holiday makers. To the East, the ‘Waterfall Country’ at Afan and the Vale of Neath is a haven for walkers and bikers alike. The remainders of Swansea Castle are situated Swansea’s city centre, with a surging waterfall adding an element of the fantastic for static caravan bargain hunters exploring the wonders in the Swansea Market. A superb all-weather attraction, Plantasia is a unique giant hot house enclosure located in the city centre. Plantasia houses a huge variety of unusual and exotic plants several species extinct in the wild, with the monkey, reptile, fish, insect and butterfly houses proving very popular. The National Showcaves Centre for Wales is the largest show-cave complex in Northern Europe with three award winning showcaves, including the Bone Cave, a home to man from 3000 years ago in the Bronze Age. The site also includes one of the world’s largest Dinosaur Parks and is a must-see for young children and families out in Swansea on a mobile home holiday.
