Lodge

In the traditional sense of the word, a Log Cabin was something a man built in the wilderness with his bare hands. Today Joal Caravans has removed some of this needless struggle, and offers luxury Log Cabins or Lodges, making for a magnificent and comfortable home away from home. Many people consider a Lodge in Spain a great option for holidays, or would like a Lodge office, and Joal Caravans is happy to help you obtain either.
Built to extremely exacting standards, the Redwood Lodge is particularly robust and features an exterior cladding of ‘Canexel’, which has exceptional thermal properties. Canexel is a very special material, based on reconstituted and pressure treated wood and was originally developed to cope with the harsh weather conditions in Canada. It is so strong that it comes with a 25-year guarantee. Even the paint has a 15-year guarantee, which means that it can easily cope with the rigours of a typical Northern European winter, for instance if you wanted to base your Lodge in the UK, which can certainly experience some cold winter weather. Canexel can be supplied in a variety of timber colour finishes, or white PVC is also available.
The 36ft x 24ft model of the Lodge home is comprehensively equipped, with plenty of room for 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single), and a luxurious bathroom. The generously sized sitting room and adjoining dining area features full-length panoramic patio doors, opening on to an optional sun deck. The stylish kitchen is equipped with sink, oven, hob, extractor unit, fridge and fully integrated freezer, plus ample storage space and worktop areas.
If you are looking for a Lodge for sale, Joal Caravans has the unique ability to make your Log Cabin or Lodge to suit your exact requirements. For example, we are happy to fit a bath instead of a shower, or to extend the kitchen area to incorporate a washing machine and dishwasher. We can even make it longer / shorter or wider / narrower depending on your plot size. This personal service is often lacking when dealing with mass manufacturers and can turn your Lodge into a real home from home.
Redwood Lodges are supplied fully fitted out with plumbing, wiring, bathroom and kitchen fittings. All internal walls are of strong 9mm ply and the floor is topped with an industrial strength 19mm ply. Walls and floor have 20mm of insulation, while the roof has 30mm insulation.
